The report is in - not just from Rob's Yorkshire Marathon, but from a VERY exciting gig Paul did in Balham. Bear with us, because there are some sound issues with this recording, but the stories are well worth hearing.

A deluge clears up surprisingly quickly over the boys on this little turn around Clissold Park and the Woodberry reservoirs - but not before the rain gets into Paul's wires and makes him sound a little strange. Featuring Paul's Scarborough 10k report, a celebration of Wakefield parkrun - and others - a look at Rob's final weeks of marathon training - featuring his knees - and stand-up-related adventures all over Britain from both. Also a dog and some birds.

A long, hard run into the deep, dark woods, as Rob racks up the miles and Paul addresses empty-nest syndrome. Featuring Tetto’s talk, parkrun excuses, Frozen nipples, how to taper, Rob’s ‘ridiculous’ hydration vest, troublesome teens, the arrival of Autumn, predictions for York and Scarborough, the yin and yang of the hard miles in a marathon, October manifesto pledges, and a surprisingly high number of stiff climbs.

As Paul and Rob settle in for the next hundred episodes, they take a turn in some gorgeous early Autumn sunshine. Featuring a report on a brace of very different 5ks - Rob among the Gormleys in Crosby, Paul among the speedy on the track - oysters and champagne in Mayfair (Paul), being mistaken for someone much more successful (Rob), and an incredible example of abstemiousness for us all from Paul.

Between Rob's Great North Run and Paul's 5k race, the gentlemen run back into the woods to regroup. Featuring Paul's Goofy top, Rob's Great North Run report, both Hulking out, neither being as abstemious as they would like, Paul falling over, Rob crying and Mo Farah running the Crouch End 10k - perhaps.

A short shuffle round Clissold Park in a stolen hour at the end of the Summer Holidays. A cool, cathartic canter under the leaves of the Parkland Walk and Highgate Wood ahead of the heat on a very sultry day. Featuring a Cuban Missile Crisis joke, some New Year’s resolutions, booze, bereavement, broken guitars and table tennis.
