Seahawks Forever w/ Dan Viens

How strange are things in the NFC East this year? Michael Kist is advocating that the Rams should be the de facto division champs and wondering how the post-Joe Burrow Bengals will impact how the division plays out in the final six weeks of the regular season. We kick off the show by talking about how the Eagles continue to lead the division thanks to their tie with the aforementioned Bengals. If the Eagles don't win the division, which team does he think has the best chance. And are Eagles fans even that excited about the prospect of playing in the playoffs?

Previewing the matchups within the game, the ability of the Eagles defensive line to make some game-changing plays will be something to watch. Can Philadelphia "establish the run" against a Seahawks defense that has played the run well to this point of the season to help out their struggling quarterback? But it's Kist's evaluation of the defense and what we saw in the playoffs last year that has this Eagles fan expecting that "DK Metcalf is going to destroy this team." Adjust your fantasy football lineups accordingly.

After two straight weeks of starting with an OUT, Clinton and Brandan are back to kicking things off on the fun side of the ledger. Before getting into the nooks and the crannies, Clinton discusses the narrative that Russell Wilson was reigned in by Pete Carroll and not "allowed to cook." Among the topics discussed were how the Seahawks returned to some of those "soul reaping" hits we saw from them back in Week 1, a play on offense that we wanted to see more physical play from a receiver, and some critical moments on offense that Seattle had an answer for compared to the last time they played the Cardinals.

The Seattle Seahawks are back atop the NFC West following Thursday's 28-21 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Coming into this game, Seattle had lost four of their last five games against the Cardinals when playing at CenturyLink Field. But now the stadium as been renamed to Lumen Field and the Seahawks are 1-0 since the name change. Alistair Corp, deputy editor at Field Gulls, joins the show to break down the Seahawks return to the type of football Pete Carroll likes to see. Russell Wilson was efficient, they moved the ball well on the ground, they stopped the opponents run game and also delivered some big hits on defense.

Now the Seahawks enjoy an extend week before heading back on the road to face the Eagles and a stretch of games that include the Giants, Jets and Football Team. Tune into the recap and be sure to tweet your favorite and least favorite moments from this game to @clintonbon on Twitter using #3i3o to be a part of the next show.

I joined Anthony on the radio Thursday at our usual time, and with the Thursday Night Football game I wanted to at least post our discussion about Week 11 picks. We start off by correctly picking the Seahawks game and we pick the New Orleans game before the Taysom Hill news broke that he would start at QB this weekend. We finish with a talk about whether Seahawks fans should be rooting for the Rams in their Monday Night Football matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Rams still have to play the Cardinals twice, a 49ers team they already lost to, a New England team that ran over a good Ravens defense, and the Seahawks in Week 16. Is it better for the Seahawks to have both teams with 7 wins following Monday's game?

With the loss, we start with an OUT going into this short week for the Seahawks. After K.J. Wright missed three tackles on Sunday's game against the Rams, we are doing our best to motivate him toward a career game against the Arizona Cardinals. Will we get to see a Rocky IV-style montage from him where he crumples up a photo of Clinton Bonner? On the other side of the ledger, Duane Brown went truckin' on the touchdown run by Alex Collins. We discuss a positive wrinkle to the offense we'd like to see more of, and a special teams player who demonstrated why he should be the new starter.

Since their bye week, the Seattle Seahawks have now lost three of their last four games. Coming into this game they were in second place in the NFC and the loss today combined with the outcomes of other games in the NFC drops them all the way to the final playoff seed. Fortunately the season doesn't end today, but this game was one of their few remaining opportunities to pick up a win over a team with a winning record. They'll have another opportunity on a short week to take on the Arizona Cardinals, but it's going to be more of the same if the Seahawks can't take care of the football. John P. Gilbert of Field Gulls joins the show to talk about mistakes by Russell Wilson, a key decision by Pete Carroll to punt the ball away on fourth and short, and the Seahawks defense continuing to struggle.

It's was a long injury report this week and Seattle will be without two starting cornerbacks with Shaquill Griffin out for his third week and Quinton Dunbar also sitting out. Ugo Amadi is back in the lineup though, after sitting out with a hamstring injury. Brian Mone is also listed as out, which means that this is the week we're likely to see Damon 'Snacks' Harrison back in the lineup. Jamal Adams looked like he was maybe limping a bit last game, but he dropped off the injury report on Thursday and Friday, which should mean that he doesn't have any lingering issues. Anthony Nachreiner from his show on Thursday previews Sunday's matchup with Brandan and get into Week 10 picks.

Is Sunday's showdown a matchup between two players who have a right to have their name among the top players in the race for 2020 NFL MVP? Kenneth Arthur of Turf Show Times (and formerly of Field Gulls) joins the show to make the case for why Russell Wilson should be disqualified from consideration if he loses and why Aaron Donald deserves acknowledgement. If Dalvin Cook is working his way into the discussion, then why shouldn't one of the league's best players of this decade? Plus, will we get to see the Rams cornerback lined up routinely on D.K. Metcalf, or will Jalen Ramsey try and split his attention with Tyler Lockett?

The Seattle Seahawks are making calls on defense like a Choose Your Own Adventure book. The problem is you can't hold the previous page to go back after the wrong choice. On this week's 3 IN, 3 OUT with Clinton Bonner he talks about why coin flips matter, a welcome addition on defense, and the Seahawks offensive lineman who deserves to get more recognition for his play this season. Pete Carroll signed a new contract this week, but instead of celebrating, he ends up wearing an OUT.
