Michael Thompson of 12th Man Rising joins me today with an aggressive idea to acquire pass-rusher Haason Reddick from the NY Jets. Reddick is currently holding out for a new deal after being traded from Philadelphia to the Big Apple earlier this offseason. With just one year left on his deal, Reddick is looking for a big payday - so, how could the Seahawks figure into this? What would it cost to acquire Reddick in trade, could they fit a new deal for him into their current payroll, and do they even need another EDGE player in a group that's already chock full of young talent and established players such as Uchenna Nwosu and Dre'Mont Jones?

Well, Michael certainly thinks it's possible, logical AND feasible.

Easton Freeze covers the Tennessee Titans and hosts the Hot Read Podcast, and was in attendance Thursday as the Seahawks and Titans held the second of their two padded joint practices this week in advance of their preseason contest Saturday.

The Seattle Seahawks hired Mike Macdonald to replace legendary head coach Pete Carroll this offseason in large part to fix the defense. On a sunny day at Lumen Field today, the Hawks defense showed a dominant side in mostly holding Seattle's offense at bay in their formal mock scrimmage.

Several young players stood out on both sides of the ball, and I was there to witness it.
