February 12, 2024Seahawks Reporter Corbin Smith on Ryan Grubb, Coach Macdonald's first coaches show, the Geno Smith decision and more!
SO MUCH to talk about with Seahawks reporter Corbin Smith today. The Locked on Seahawks host and All Seahawks lead writer shares his insight into the hire of offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, and how he thinks his offense will adapt from college to the NFL.
And that's not all....
Impressions of Mike Macdonald's first radio coaches show

Breaking down the Ryan Grubb hiring process

His gut feeling on which way the team is leaning with a key contract date coming up Friday for Geno Smith

Drew Lock still in the picture?

And I ask Corbin what he thinks the chances are of the Seahawks re-signing Leonard Williams, and how much Macdonald might value free agent LB Jordyn Brooks.....you don't want to miss his answers.

February 10, 2024Seahawks secure Ryan Grubb as offensive coordinator, AND get their OL coach too?
We FINALLY get to talk about Ryan Grubb as your new offensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks, because it's happening. And not only is Grubb coming back to Seattle, but he's reportedly bringing offensive line coach Scott Huff with him as well.
How does this move speak to John Schneider's approach this off-season?

What does this mean for the Seahawks skill position players?

Does this eliminate or enhance the need to keep Geno Smith?

Can his offense translate to the NFL?

Which former UW player would be the best fit for Seattle in the draft?
And MUCH more....

February 09, 2024 Seahawks hire Defensive Coordinator, but search for OC drags on....
Another "outside the box" hire!!
Aden Durde is your new Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator under newly-appointed head coach Mike Macdonald, and he has an extremely intriguing background.
I'll go over his resume with you and then we'll talk about the still-vacant and ever-important OC position.
With Chip Kelly OUT of the race now, where does that leave the search? There's a very interesting name I overlooked in my last show, serving a key role on the Kansas City coaching staff. Could this search be shaping up just like the head coaching process did, with candidates waiting on offers while John Schneider makes sure to turn over every single possible rock to find the right guy? Is that guy coaching in the Super Bowl this Sunday? And what about Ryan Grubb..... is he still in play?

February 08, 2024Parsing clues: Digging into the mysterious Seahawks offensive coordinator search
With 2 of the Seahawks top candidates to be Mike Macdonald's first offensive coordinator in Seattle seemingly off the board, where do they turn to next?
Is Chip Kelly a viable option after interviewing with the team on Tuesday?

Has Tanner Engstrand been eliminated from consideration? If so, why haven't we heard anything?

Have the Seahawks fulfilled the Rooney Rule yet?

Are they waiting to interview candidates who are participating in the Super Bowl this week? If so.... WHO?!

And, could there be another mystery candidate?

February 02, 2024 Latest Rumors/News/Notes - Updates on the OC and DC search
Who's going to call plays on offense for Mike Macdonald's Seattle Seahawks? And who's going to be his understudy at defensive coordinator?
We're heard a couple names, but who's NOT being talked about? I'll give you a couple intriguing candidates who are out there, with connections to Macdonald, that haven't yet been named.
Also, did Macdonald let slip that Drew Lock may still be in the future QB plans? I'll break that down for you.
And on the 10th anniversary of the Seahawks winning Super Bowl 48, I'll share the story of where I was, and why the final minutes of the game were a near-disaster for me.
