For the first time since 2012, the Seattle Seahawks scored more than 50 points in a game. Only three other teams have done it this year and they're all playoff teams. We get into the nooks and the crannies for this game to take about some soul-crushing hits, the play of young linebacker Jordyn Brooks and what Will Dissly did to put himself on the positive side of the ledger. We also discuss what could have gone better. What's the future of Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner? We saw a preview of how it could look without Bobby, but is Wilson talking like he could be gone this offseason? We grapple with a couple scenarios that may be playing out behind the scenes.

After losing a titan in the football world this week with the passing of John Madden, Phil brings the BOOM this week with a set of Madden-themed questions to preview the Seahawks matchup with the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Who are some of the Seahawks players we'd like to see bringing that big hit mentality into the final game at Lumen Field this year? Plus, with a limited amount of talent on that Lions roster, who would get elevated to a potential All-Madden roster? Finally, we discuss whether or not there's anything we could see over the final couple weeks that would change our mind about the future of keeping a core trio together next year.

The Seattle Seahawks did quite a few things in this game that you would only expect to happen in a winning performance. Yet, they still managed to find a way to lose in the final minutes to a Chicago Bears team that had only four wins coming into this game. The OUTs begin with a play where Rashaad Penny likely could have had another long touchdown run. Plus, we discuss a moment where Michael Dickson should have refused to come on the field or, at the very least, decided to call his own number.

With the latest 25-24 loss to the Chicago Bears, the Seattle Seahawks have now lost double digit games for the first time since 2009. Seattle will also finish the year with a losing record at home for the first time since 2008. Both of those seasons resulted in negative outcomes for the franchise's head coach. Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson each talk about a critical moment in the game that allowed the Bears a chance to win. Carlos Dunlap talked about the defense's inability to stop the Bears offense in the second half.
