It has been weeks since we got to start with an IN on this show, and the Seahawks nearly got a shutout which would have brought all the INs. The Seattle Seahawks did give up a late score however before tacking on another touchdown from an attempted on side kick. The 31-7 win going into the bye week offers the team some hope at a playoff run in the second half of the season if Russell Wilson can come back and be his usual self. Defensively, Seattle appears to be finding its personnel grouping that gives the team the best chance for success. But there were some OUTs and to call out in this game. If you're a Seahawks running back with a name other than Alex Collins, Chris Carson, DeeJay Dallas, Travis Homer, or even Josh Johnson, you may want to skip this episode.

The Seahawks nearly shut out the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday as the defense allowed just one touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Travis Homer and the special teams unit made the Jags pay for their onside kick attempt by scooping it off the ground and taking it in for the touchdown. Geno Smith got his first win as a starter and got a majority of his yards throwing to Tyler Lockett, who he worked with a lot after practice this week and it paid off. It's going to be a 'revenge game' for a number of former Seahawks players today against Jacksonville. Will Dissly talks about what it means to have former players and coaches on the opposing sideline this week. Ethan Pocic is expected to play this week, but we don't know how much. Admittedly, Pete Carroll has found himself in a position he hasn't been in for a long time. With a 2-5 record heading into Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he talks about needing to pull from some of his experience at USC and some of the issues that he struggled with there at the time. Carroll says the Seahawks should have some key players returning this week and is happy with the cornerback play of rookie Tre Brown. The graphics team for Monday Night's game between the Saints and Seahawks was right on point when they showed Pete Carroll getting smacked with a barrage of cold fish. The Seahawks are now 0-3 at home to start the season following a 13-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Seahawks defense managed to shut down the Saints run game, but they weren't able to stop Alvin Kamara who led the team with 128 receiving yards. The Seahawks got out to an early lead thanks to a DK Metcalf 84-yard touchdown, but the offense didn't do much after that. After the game Pete Carroll referenced the missed field goals, Geno Smith talked about the inability to capitalize off a timely turnover, and Ugo Amadi and Jordyn Brooks talked about what the team needs to do next.

Pete Carroll kicks off today's gameday episode with some injury updates for Darrell Taylor and Dee Eskridge. The big story for today is that former Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is going into the Ring of Honor. Hasselbeck had a press conference with Seattle media this past week and talked about some of his favorite memories with the team. He shared why Steve Largent became one of his favorite players as a kid and why he wanted to learn about the players in the Ring of Honor when he came to Seattle. The show closes with Matt's thoughts on the 2021 Seahawks team and the record he believes they should have at this point in the season.
