In this episode, I go over the season of waiting, how to wait well, how to prepare yourself for a relationship and we also talk about struggles that you walk through in your current relationship, how to strengthen your relationship, and how to know when you’re with the one. 

Relationships are hard, being single is hard, but there are blessings on the other side always. 

Comparison seems to be plaguing our society more and more every day. We look left and we look right and look at the highlight reel of peoples lives and start comparing what we don’t have to what they do have. It’s like quicksand that you can’t get out of. 

In this episode we go over the reality of comparison and how to overcome it! The fastest way to kill something special to you is to compare it to something else. We truly start believing the lies of the enemy tells us. That if we had what they had we would be better off.
But truly the reality is if you began comparing yourself to yourself that is where growth happens. You’re better off comparing your today to your yesterday. 

It’s time to stop comparing yourself to others and start walking in confidence for who God made you to be. 

The most frequently asked questions I get asked is how to strengthen your relationship with God, how to step in to your faith, how to grow closer to the Lord. I’m excited to have this conversation with one of my dearest friends and one of the truest examples of what a woman of God looks like with you guys. We dive deep into her testimony, into hardships she faced and how she strengthened her relationship and learned to lean on her faith and wait on God well.

We get raw and vulnerable in this episode. We discuss heavy topics and have a heart to heart. Our hope in this episode is through the discussion you learn that this relationship doesn’t have to be perfect, that you are not too far gone or too broken for His love.

Social media is the most powerful tool that you can use in building your brand. Building your brand is about defining what it is that you stand for. When people think of you these are the things they think of! Building a brand can truly explode your business, purpose, product, or whatever it is that you’re trying to promote through your social media platforms. Building a brand helps with retention, building your business, and also creating a space that you enjoy working in because you’re sharing things that you love!

You can make excuses or you can make money but you cannot make both. 

For some reason we automatically choose defeat, excuses and think the worst when it comes to going to the next level. When we have the goal, the dream, the next level we want to go to we immediately make an excuse as to why we can’t do it. We allow the lies of the enemy to control our thoughts and you allow it to talk yourself out of everything that you’ve ever wanted to do

In this episode we go over how to quit making excuses and choose action instead. That those successful people that you look up to in whatever area of your life that you want more of, there is nothing on the inside of them that is not on the inside of you. When you think of successful people you have to understand the only difference between them and you is the amount of time they’ve put into that goal, the excuses that they haven’t made, and the consistency that they have done. 

It’s time for you to level up, get rid of the excuses and start putting in the action towards the things that you want in life. 

Motivation gets you going, discipline keeps you going. It requires you to connect todays actions to tomorrow’s results and when you see those results you keep putting in the actions. It’s a compound effect.

I’m this episode Sam and I  cover the difference between the often confused motivation VS discipline. Motivation is a feeling. Discipline is an action. Feelings are fleeting. You won’t feel like it tomorrow and your goals and dreams will go out the window. You have to operate using BOTH. A feeling to get you started and an action to keep you pushing.

The feelings = motivation
The actions = discipline

We hurry up to wait. We hesitate to take the next steps always waiting on how we feel to make the decisions for us. Newsflash you’re never gonna feel like it. There wont be a moment that say YES. You have to take the first step and the discipline muscle will continue to grow!

All too often we have people in our lives that we continue to be hurt by, neglected and put through traumatic situation’s simply because we don’t know how to cut them off. It can be a sensitive and traumatic situation and very difficult to navigate. In this episode I walk through the seasons of my life where I had to learn to cut people off and how I walked through those  seasons of heartbreak. 

It is so hard to be vulnerable and to open up about these experiences and my hope is that as I share mine you are able to find connection, relatability and feel like you are not alone. 

We all know that there are plenty of seasons where we must wait for the next thing. Sometimes we can feel stuck with where we are in life trying to figure out what the next step is. It can be a season of confusion, pain, heartache, and questioning while trying to figure out what the next step is. We try to rush through these seasons because we aren’t able to be patient or truly reflect on what the lord is trying to teach us.

In this episode Kelsey and I go over seasons of waiting in our lives, and how we used those for good and we also reflect on how it’s shaped us into who we needed to be for the next season of our life!
