Emma is joined by Dr. Madiha Ellaffi, a French Pulmonologist, Allergist and Pediatric, and Adult Sleep Specialist. Together they discuss:
* Dr. Ellaffi's experiences as the mother of 4 children who developed sleep problems.
* The book and app she developed, along with a dedicated team, about pediatric sleep apnea, to help children and parents that struggle with sleep issues to understand and get better answers and treatment.
* Emma describes the wonderful app called "Woodchuck's Sleep" (you can find it free wherever you get apps). It brings together all the specialists involved in treating pediatric sleep apnea and introduces them to kids in a fun and engaging way.
* In this app you can introduce your kids to the idea of seeing a sleep specialist, a dentist specializing in palate expansion, a pediatric ENT, a myofunctional therapist. There are even exercises and games your child can complete.
* Dr. Ellaffi explained that the app is free to use and there is a special crowd-funding link (below) to enable people to support their work and make it available to families dealing with childhood sleep apnea across different languages and different countries.
