Hey, welcome to Weight Loss For Women Over 40 Podcast!

I’m your host Nicole …helping women over 40 to  lose weight for the last time. For decades I was deep in dieter’s mentality and it was destroying my life! I was constantly comparing myself to others, wanting people to notice when I had lost a few pounds, spending hours and hours measuring and weighing food….it was ALL consuming! I felt like I was so limited to what I could do and actually enjoy. There was a point in my life when I had had enough. I did NOT want to live this way any more. As I went on my own journey, I found mindset work and I started using it in my own weight issues AND it WORKED! So I started using it with my clients AND IT WORKED for them TOO!!  No more food logging and no more freaking out about what and when to eat. No foods off limits. We all have this running dialog in our heads at all times. Those voices we hear. Not in a weird, creepy way but just a ticker tape of thoughts that keep flitting in and out throughout the day.  We can be aware of some of the dialog…but some of the thoughts we have been repeating so often  to ourselves for years and years that we don’t actually hear them. Kinda like white noise or a background hum.
