In this next active meditation I invite you to some more deeply somatic meditative work. Stomping, shaking and releasing are such powerful techniques to get us back into our bodies, to feel the connection with our bodies and to shift our energy. These are simple yet deeply effective ways of getting in touch with our energy and they also teach us where stuck energy lies. Incorporating these practices into your daily routine can be impactful and help you to feel connected, rooted and with a beautiful awareness of your body. These are also great as a warm up to a yoga practice! Look out on my socials for videos where I show you these techniques. Enjoy!

In today's meditation I invite you to be standing as we find yet another way to meditate - actively! Bringing our attention into the body in an intentional way is very grounding and in this episode we are looking to activate and drain our lymphatic system. The lymph nodes around our body can become stagnant and since they are often hidden in areas that do not get much attention, such as the armpits and groin areas, this is an extremely valuable technique. I will create a video for my socials that shows you these areas but it will be easy to follow along with this audio! Enjoy!

I understand that this is quite a niche topic but sadly I have been going through this recently and have realised that there is most certainly a need for this. I needed this and so, sadly, might you one day... When we lose a pet it is a special kind of grief, one that touches our hearts deeply, because our pets hold a unique place in our lives. They love us unconditionally, and their presence fills our homes with warmth and companionship. Losing them can feel like losing a piece of ourselves. We all have heard of Karma but how many of us know what Dharma is? These two concepts are deeply rooted together and today we are seeking to understand how to bring the Laws of Dharma into our life. Whilst Karma is the concept that our actions and choices have consequences, Dharma is the concept that we live our lives in a "path of righteousness". This is not as cloistered an idea as it sounds! It is essentially the idea of living with authenticity, using our gifts for the good and benefit of others. This is the path to true abundance and, of course, to good Karma...

After listening back to my interview with Earle Birney I was inspired to create this meditation to encourage you to take your meditative practice into your entire day. Small shifts in awareness, especially when you reach for your phone to distract you or occupy a space in your day, will pay dividends in your sense of wellbeing! Let me know how you get on and where you find your space in the day to be fully present - maybe you will find that you can be present for a great proportion of your day. I do hope so.
