About the author

Darlene Porter’s education at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, resulted in the degree of Bachelor’s of Science, Nursing, and a minor in history. The author spent 33 years working as an RN. She currently lives in Southern California with her husband and extended family in a multi-generational home.
