Tribe Sober Activist Jen came to our workshop 8 years ago and has been thriving in her alcohol free life ever since!

  • Jens turning point came on March 14th 2017 – that was the moment when she realised that her life revolved around alcohol
  • She talked of the loneliness and shame of struggling with her drinking as a mom
  • She had tried to made the change alone but kept going back to Day One over and over

  • She’ll always have a drink in her hand and if she’s offered some alcohol she’ll just say: "I’m fine for now."

  • powerful influence of advertising and the media in shaping our drinking habits.
  • the danger of the “Mommy Juice” culture and how its made alcohol into an essential parenting aid

  • Jen is a bit of an Activist when it comes to…
  • Calling out misleading media messages promoting alcohol.
  • Together we’ve written letters to women’s magazines challenging their alcohol-friendly narratives.

  • Jen left us with 5 great Tips for Those Starting out on this life changing journey

    Be kind to yourself—focus on one day at a time.
    Push through those cravings and difficult emotions. – get comfortable with being uncomfortable
    Set yourself an initial goal – for her reaching 100 days alcohol-free was a game-changer
