I’ve made a lot of decisions in my business that, upon reflection, I’m not always sure I’d do again.
But, this particular choice really has me thinking. It might be one of my biggest regrets.
That is…raising my prices too soon.
It's not necessarily the choice, but the hastiness and motivation behind price changes. The lesson here is to discern whether you're actually initiating a new strategy or reacting to your unresolved money and selling fears.
It was a combination for me. So, I’m laying it all out there today to tell you my exact thoughts, as of today, and what I plan on doing going forward.
This Week on the Get Paid Podcast:
The original pricing of Absolute FB Ads and why it was so low
Why I went through so many price points and what I think about it now
When pricing is and is not a strategy - and often there’s more to look at before you make big changes
Learning to take the entire context of your launch and audience building into account before making big decisions
Why we should be collecting case studies like yesterday
Why I’m still happy with my current prices and what it took to get there

This is my open letter to business coaches.
There’s some (perhaps well-meaning) advice too many coaches give to their clients.
I know the intention is to reduce risk for your clients. But, most of the time, you’re setting them up for slower, more painful business growth.
Today, I want to tell you exactly why you need to stop telling clients to wait until their business is bigger before they run ads.
This Week on the Get Paid Podcast:
Why I’m mad at business coaches (and, yes, I still I love you)
You can’t learn what works without this one crucial ingredient
Some of you are accidentally setting your clients up for failure
Why ads are often less risky than relying on an organic model for growth
Organic social media marketing isn’t enough (or even that effective anymore) to help us learn about and improve our messaging
What really goes into ads for businesses at an earlier stage (and with a smaller budget)
