Hey there! In this week's episode, 203. Hey, Missionary Momma, I'm diving deep into the world of motherhood, specifically for missionary moms. Mother's Day can be a tricky time, filled with complex emotions and expectations.
In this episode, I share my personal experiences of having kids who've served missions, stepped away from the church, and navigated different life paths, to help you understand that there's no one "perfect" way to be a mom. I want you to know that it's okay to feel all the feelings - the frustration, the sadness, the joy, and everything in between.
Motherhood isn't about being a superhero or meeting some impossible standard. It's about showing up as your authentic self, loving your kids through their journeys, and giving yourself grace. Whether you're spending your Saturday morning doing chores, running a marathon, or taking a much-needed nap, you are doing an amazing job.
Hey, Missionary Mommas out there, this episode is for you. I want to remind you that you are exactly the mom your kids need, imperfections and all. Our Heavenly Parents aren't looking for perfection - they're looking for love, authenticity, and your willingness to keep showing up. Happy Mother's Day, warrior mamas! You've got this, and I'm cheering you on every step of the way.
As always, if you found this episode helpful, I want to invite you to subscribe if you aren't already, share this episode with your friends and missionaries you know, and write a review. I know this work will help LDS missionaries around the world and it would mean so much to me if you did. Until next week my friends.
