While all your needs are valid, some of those needs can’t - or won’t - be met by others (no matter how much you want them to or try).
If your need is tied to your self-esteem, your self-worth, your value, or your love for yourself as a person, it’s going to be nearly impossible for others to meet those needs.
They might try and fail because no amount of them trying will meet the need for self-love.
In this episode, Kat Harris, relationship coach and author of Sexless in the City, discusses how to deal with life plans that continue changing and the sadness that comes from living a life that’s different than what you expected.
Kat and Shaun talk about grieving your dreams, how to be honest with yourself, and the importance of keeping your expectations in check.
