For more than a decade, Vallejo, California-based Sinaloense fotógrafa Rocio Rivera has been an award-winning professional photographer. After establishing herself as a professional photographer in the U.S. she moved back to the motherland to Mexico to continue her work there — a dream she's always had for herself.

In this week’s episode, Rocio shares why she left the United States and how she created her own new American Dream. Many people are saying that the new American dream for children of immigrant parents is to return to the motherland and live a better-quality life. As expenses rise in the US more and more people are redefining what their idea of success is and what it could look like for them and their families in the future.
