This week, we’re doing something a little different on the podcast! I had a random thought, download, whatever you want to call it, to let my daughters (ages 10 and 5) interview me for this episode.

So this time around, I’m the one in the hot seat — for the most part). They came prepared with a list of questions, and I asked them a few things too. We talked about:

• what I like to do in my job and how it lights me up as a Manifesting Generator to be able to connect with people in so many different ways
• what I plan on doing in my job in the future with bringing my insight on Human Design and spirituality to a bigger world stage
• how you can have a passion for something (in my case, my love of animals) but how that doesn’t necessarily have to be your life’s purpose
• our thoughts on spirituality and finding our own witchy magic in our bodies, and how that relates to my daughter's concept of God
• how my older daugher, a 2/4 Emotional Manifestor, relates to feeling aligned with her type or in the not-self

When I say kundalini changed my life, I’m not exaggerating. A year or two ago, I started going to a local yoga studio that offers really unique classes — not just a regular gym — and I decided to try something new.

So I showed up for kundalini and it was sooooo challenging and different than the yoga I thought I knew. And now I do it daily!

And that’s why today I’m having my beautiful friend, Jessica Bridge, Kundalini & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher ERYT500, on the podcast. She’s also a Generator and Taurus sun / Leo moon / Aquarius rising.

In this episode, we’re breaking down what kundalini is and how it relates to — and differs from — the yoga styles that you might be more familiar with.

In a nutshell, kundalini combines asanas (the poses like downward dog that you typically see in a yoga class) with three other elements: pranayama, or breath control; mudra, which are finger movements; and mantra, which is the voice.

We’re also talking about:

• Jessica's path to kundalini from working to heal others as a massage therapist to training in yoga to finding kundalini during the pandemic
• how kundalini helps retrain your nervous system, rewire your stress responses, and create new neural pathways
• kundalini's relation to the creative energy and sex drive of the sacral and how it channels energy through the body as you work through your poses
• why kundalini might be the ultimate meditation hack for Generators and MGs who have a hard time sitting still and emptying their brains (like me!)

Even if you think you have it all figured out, trust me: kundalini can bring you to a whole new level of spiritual enlightenment.

If you’ve been studying Human Design for a hot minute, you’ve likely heard mentions of the Incarnation Cross as the thing that everyone says has your life's purpose.

And who doesn’t want to know what their purpose is?!?!?

In this episode, we'll dissect what this really means and why it’s not going to tell you exactly what job or career path you should follow, but how it reveals itself in your life over time and why every person’s Incarnation Cross is different.

(I’m using using my bodygraph and my Cross as an example, so you can also watch this episode on YouTube if you find it helpful to look at a chart as we talk about it.)

When it comes to the Incarnation Cross, I’m breaking down:

• what the four numbers after the name of the Cross represent: your sun and earth gates on both the personality and design sides of your chart
• why these are the most influential gates in your bodygraph and how they work together
• how your profile lines (e.g. 2/4, 1/3) come into play here and how your profile adds an extra level of flavor to each gate
• why you don’t need to “do” anything to fulfill your purpose as part of the Incarnation Cross — and why others might feel the imprint of your Cross more than you do

Remember, the more you work with your type, strategy, and authority to live as your authentic self, the more you’re living with the gifts of your Incarnation Cross every day!

Buckle in, beautiful souls, because I have a wild story to tell you today. On New Year’s Eve, I took my first-ever psilocybin journey, and I can’t wait for you to hear all about it.

This has been a long time in the making — about a year and a half ago, I started learning about psilocybin and other plant medicines, and how they've been used for healing with abuse survivors and those with PTSD.

My purpose in wanting to do this was to explore the depths of my trauma that I hadn't yet unlocked, and bring stuff to the surface that I could work through. But with my deep, long-seated fear of losing control of my body, I felt too vulnerable to try it on my own.

When the opportunity to experience mushrooms finally happened, and I’m going to say this a lot in this episode, it was wild! And worth the wait.

In this episode, I’m spilling all the details, including:

• how I trusted in divine timing after my first facilitated attempt fell through, and how it brought me to the realization that I was finally ready to do this on my own (with my husband)
• why I set an intention before we went into this experience, and how it helped me during the journey
• how mushrooms opened me up to receiving love and why I now understand why they are called “the love drug”
• the instant I finally acknowledged my calling to train as a Priestess, which I've been resisting, and owning my power as a Sorceress
• the most impactful and powerful moment of reckoning with my abuser and how it has changed my life for the rest of my life

Would I do it again? Absofuckinglutely, yes, I will do it again! I’m a changed woman after this experience and I’m so grateful.

When you hear the word “witch,” I bet a lot of images and scenarios pop into your head. They sure do for me! And as someone who always had a hard time connecting with the idea of witchcraft, I wanted to see if there was a way I could feel differently.

Did you know it’s estimated that our subconscious controls 95 percent of our brain activity? Think about that (consciously) for a minute. 

It means most of our daily actions, habits, and patterns are coming from a place we’re not actively doing anything about. And that’s why it’s so hard to break free of things that are emotionally unhealthy.

So today I’m getting into the process of shifting your subconscious beliefs with Allison K. Dagney: author, emotional abuse recovery coach, and 6/2 Generator. 

After escaping a narcissistic relationship, Allison wrote a memoir detailing her journey and uses the techniques she personally benefited from when healing to help other women recover from emotional abuse through her company Radiate & Rise.

And she loves using Human Design to communicate with her clients and understand their conditioning and shadows — because it all comes down to busting through those subconscious patterns, no matter what tool you use to get there!

In this episode, we’re talking about:

• how emotional abuse programs our brains and conditions us — and how rapid reprogramming uses the language of the subconscious to undo that programming
• how subconscious rapid reprogramming did what therapy couldn’t to help Allison overcome her triggers and heal from her abuse
• ways to identify potential narcissistic relationships in your life (whether romantic, platonic, or parental), and the idealize - devalue - discard cycle
• why affirmations need to go deeper than repeating phrases to yourself on a conscious level

There’s a lot of talk about being a specific or non-specific manifestor in Human Design, and how to manifest using this binary with your Perspective variable. Like, if I’m a specific manifestor, I’m supposed to imagine what I want down to the littlest detail.

But here’s the thing. This never worked for me. It actually repelled things. And eventually I realized I had to do the opposite — to actually let go and have the Universe bring me what I need.

So if it's not about specific and non-specific manifesting, how do I actually do this??

That’s why I’m talking with Krystle Kavalsky, a human design lifestyle mentor, 1/3 Sacral Generator, and Sagittarius sun / Aries moon / Capricorn rising.

Krystle works in-depth with Human Design and knows so much about variables, so she’s here to spill the tea on what it really means to use your Perspective and View to manifest what you want in life.

I know that the variables can be the most confusing part of Human Design for a lot of people who are just starting to live their design, so don’t worry! We’ll break it all down.

Grab your charts and a notepad, because today we’re exploring the energy of Gate 2 in the Human Design bodygraph!

Gate 2 is Gate of the Direction of Self in the G Center, and it’s the the most receptive feminine gate in our chart. It’s how we call things to us and helps support us in the direction of our creative ambitions by cultivating unity and trust.

This is something I’ve had to heal through a lot (and still am healing through!). And this gate is exactly how and where the energy of The Magnetic Rebellion came from — because Gate 2 is my Design Mars gate.

That’s where we explore our core wound and our vocation: who you have become and what you'll initiate in others because of your journey to heal your fear and conditioning.

If you don't know what some of these terms relate to in Human Design yet, don’t worry! I’m breaking it down in this episode and also getting into:

• how Gate 2 guides you in owning your power and redirecting yourself when you're out of alignment — always seeming to know the paths to follow
• how its shadow can come through as an inability to receive from others, like feeling guilty when others buy you stuff or do nice things for you, or as a feeling that there’s nothing out there for you
• the relationship of Gate 2 to other gates in the bodygraph, especially how it plays with Gates 1 and 8
• how the energy of this gate is all about synchronicity and recognizing everyday magic, so as you heal your core wound, you can more easily attract things to you

Even if you don't have Gate 2 defined, remember that you’re always picking up energy from others who are activating these parts of your chart. So listen in and see how this relates to you!
