In this episode, I step away from my usual tips and advice to share my personal story with alcohol and sobriety. I open up about the life events that led me to my lowest point (Covid, a narcissistic relationship, and an injury), how I knew it was time for a change, and the very first steps I took after quitting drinking.
If you’re sober-curious, in early recovery, or just looking for encouragement, I hope my story reminds you that you’re not alone and that change is possible.

Alcohol seems to be everywhere -at the grocery store, on TV, at bars, and in nearly every social gathering. In today’s episode, I share practical tips for navigating those moments so you can feel confident and comfortable in your sobriety, no matter the setting.

In sobriety, some changes happen immediately, whereas some take time. In today's episode, we are discussing a few benefits that happen right away when you quit drinking. Obviously, everyone is different, so this is just my own personal experience. But hopefully it gives you something to look forward to if you're considering sobriety.

In today’s episode, I’m going back to the very beginning of my sober journey and revisiting the ‘why’ I wrote down in my sobriety app on day one. Knowing our 'why' is such a powerful tool -it keeps us grounded, helps us stay focused when things get tough, and reminds us of the results and life we’re working toward.

I hate the feeling of being bored, and the old me would have just drank away that feeling. Now in sobriety, we have to face that feeling and sit with our thoughts. It's a tough adjustment, and I honestly don't have a ton of advice to offer.
Today, I am venting... sharing something I still struggle with. Sobriety gets easier with time, but I'm still learning every day.

Did you know that 43% of people with ADHD will develop a problem with alcohol? It is SO common for people to self-medicate with booze, and unfortunately... it works. That's why so many people fall down a bad path with alcohol -because it's an immediate band-aid fix, but it's not a long term solution.
In today's episode, I provide some life hacks for living life with ADHD, and we discuss why it's so common for ADHD'ers to turn to the bottle.

I'm not going to lie, dating feels so weird without my comfort blanket. I used to drink alcohol in order to feel comfortable flirting with guys, making the first move, or to get through the first date jitters... and now I don't have that. So dating and flirting feels weird.
I've had a lot of "firsts" in sobriety, but dating is still not crossed off the list. I am loving life right now on my own, so it's tough to get in the mindset of bringing someone else into my little world. But I know it'll happen eventually.
In this episode, we talk about some little flirtatious glimmers I've had over the last year of being single and sober + we talk about why it's different to date as a sober person. Thanks for listening, and feel free to join our online support group below:

Alcohol used to be my number one interest. Everything I did revolved around booze, and I didn’t even know who I was without it. If you’re feeling that way too, today’s episode is for you.
I want to show you that life in sobriety is not only possible, but so much better than it ever was when we were drinking. If you don’t know what to do with yourself as a newly sober person, sit back and listen — because I’ve got a whole list of fun, exciting things you can try that don’t involve alcohol.

Relapses are unfortunately very common in sobriety, so today's episode is dedicated to helping listeners avoid relapsing in the first place, but also managing and moving on from a relapse.
I give some tough love in the hope that it will motivate you to stay sober and not even consider alcohol as an option. You got this!! And as always, feel free to join our FB support group linked below:
