On April 1st, Esther de Bruijn and I had a very informative and interesting conversation about her experience with symptoms of COVID-19.

April 1st marked day 18 of her experience with this virus. Esther experienced her first symptom March 15th with a burning chest, unlike anything she’d ever experienced before. Having had Malaria and Typhoid in the past, Esther knew very quickly that something was wrong.

Part way through the conversation, I work through a variety of listener questions for Esther to answer, and at the end of the interview, there’s an update from the 12th of April to see how things have changed in the last twelve days.

Esther’s educated and thorough knowledge of the virus and and the current situation in the UK is extremely mind-opening. From her personal story about the inability to acquire a COVID-19 test to the sadness and grief she experiences not being able to physically be with her daughter, this episode is one you don’t want to miss.
