So I asked the question “What is the first thing you need to do when you want to lose weight?”  to my private Facebook group (which if you want to join in search “Women Over 40 Lose Weight and Ditch Diets” over on Facebook) and I got a lot of really good different answers but there is only ONE thing you need to FIRST do to be successful in losing weight for good.

I am your host, Nicole Simonin and I help women over 40 lose weight for the last time.
I have been in the weight loss business for almost 2 decades and there is always some new diet coming out (which by the way they are not really any new diets. They just keep tweaking the old ones and putting a new spin on them).
They all have the same principles:
Restrict certain foods or times of day.
Set up complicated rules that you must follow.
And once you stop the diet you will gain all the weight back and then some.
I know you think it needs to be complicated and hard…you are a high achiever. If something comes easy to you it’s like you didn’t earn it. But what if you were wrong?
What if weight loss could be flexible, simpler and actually enjoyable?? Would you think it would work??
For women who are deep in dieter’s mentality, you will think what I said is impossible “There is NO way I can lose weight eating whatever I want and only doing certain activities…I have to be strict with myself or I’ll never lose the weight”.
How is that working out for you?
