When I asked Eliot to come on the show, I was half expecting to hear a bunch of boring stuff about what to do when you find yourself in a ‘legal pickle’.
It was a pleasant surprise to hear the tone of the conversation that formed the fundamental basis of the entire episode was more or less, Eliot telling us how we can inevitably avoid ending up talking to him.
As Eliot jokes a number of times throughout the episode, “Do this, so you don’t have to pay some lawyer loads of money they don’t need”.
The conversationI approached this conversation with the angle of really trying to figure out what we, as business owners need to have in place from a legal perspective in our business.
I left with a strategy on how to be a better, smarter, more organised and less exposed business owner.
We covered things that I certainly didn’t expect to discuss.
Things like:
If you’re in business, you must listen to this podcast. It’s amazing on every level.
In my eyes, Eliot certainly doesn’t fit the stereotype of a lawyer. He’s a great communicator and a funny story teller, who’ll keep you smiling the whole way through.
