Last week was a whirlwind. I went out to Utah for a quick 36 hour trip to hang with my buddy and client, Nate Bailey. Nate wanted me to experience stem cell therapy and experience it I did!
Then, once I got home, I was off to a seminar for a few hours to learn from a legend in the strength and conditioning industry, Joe Kenn. In addition, I had the opportunity to hear Brian Koppelman, the creator of Billions, speak about success.
I am always learning and learning from experience in order so that I keep from dying too young. And, I am not talking about physically dying, I am talking about dying mentally and spiritually.
Tune in to find out what I learned last week, guaranteed you will learn at least one key insight.

We had a great time on our cruise to celebrate my parent's 50th anniversary last week.
I often get the question about what I do on a vacation and what other's should do. While I can't tell you what you should do, because everyone is different, I do have a certain philosophy when I'm on vacation that allows me to enjoy myself to the fullest while still feeling great.
In this episode, I cover:
-Sleep
-Drinking
-Eating and Fasting
-Training on Vacation
And, I finish off with telling you about my delayed flight experience that made my half marathon on Sunday a whole heck of a lot tougher.
As always, thanks for the support!

My streak of nearly 500 straight weeks nearly came to an end! But, I am delayed at the airport coming back from a family cruise and I dialed up a gem for you!
I found an old interview I did with my longtime Coach, now deceased, John Meadows. John aka Mountain Dog, was a legend in the bodybuilding world.
I was fortunate enough to learn directly from John, as well as have him featured in one of my earlier books, soon to be published for the masses (Anabolic Recharge).
John had a HUGE influence on my philosophies on nutrition and yes, even fasting, even though it wasn't something I was practicing at the time, nor did John ever talk about fasting. But, we did talk about insulin often.
Take a listen to this long lost interview, never before heard by anyone other than a few close friends.
Enjoy and let me know what you think!

P.S. - I just released my new RIPPED DADS book a little more than a week ago and it's killer! It's over 200 pages and I have workouts, fasting and nutrition protocols, as well as my philosophies on mental and physical strength. Right now, I am still offering it for just $100, if you want the early bird price, shoot me a text at 908-229-6666.
Strength is the big glass bowl that all other fitness and athletic qualities fit into.
Strength is often the answer and yes, it is all relative.
Understanding these concepts will go a long way in your journey to optimal health.
I keep it simple so you can keep it simple, yet also learn for yourself.

Two weeks ago, silver hit an all-time high of $52+. I was pumped, but not surprised, because I have been buying silver for the better part of the past five years.
I know, all the money guys say it's not an investment, but when something in the wealth world has gone up almost 300% in the past 5-6 years, I'd say they are wrong.
However, the point of today's writing is not to give you financial advice, but to make you think about the world 'investment'. If I asked you what the best investment of your life has been, what would you say?
Was it in building some aspect of your portfolio? Was it investing into your children, into your education, into your marriage? Or maybe it's something else entirely.
When you examine what made it a great investment, what makes it stand out? What type of return did it give you?
I am here to tell you that there is no investment in this world that will have a bigger payoff than investing into your health and fitness. None, nada, zilch!
Are you the type that continues to wish you could get your weight and health in order? Yet, when you look at your track record, you are spending more per month on your cell phone bill than you do on your health?
Most people keep putting this crucial investment off because it has not risen to the level of urgency yet.
What other thing could you invest in that will give you:
-A longer life?
-Make you literally harder to kill?
-A better quality of life?
-More strength?
-A more attractive body?
-Better energy?
-More confidence?
I'll let you sit on that, but I can tell you right now that no matter how long you rack your brain, you won't be able to come up with one that can match these potential ROIs.
Health is your true weath.

P.S. - If you are a Dad and are ready to invest more into your health, then I'd recommend beginning with my upcoming book: A Guide to Becoming a Ripped Dad. I cover workouts, fasting, nutrition, mindset, core values, leadership and more. It's jam packed. Most importantly, I teach you in the book to become a fisher, rather than just giving you fish. We are on week 3 of the early bird, this week it's up to $95 and that will continue to go up until it is released. If you'd like the link, shoot me a text: 908-229-6666
I've been fortunate enough to stem from what I would say is the best Coaching tree in the world, in the field of strength, conditioning and nutrition.
Here's my tree in no particular order:
Louie Simmons - Founder of Westside Barbell, the strongest gym in the world
Jay Butler - 20 year strength Coach in D1 and NFL, named D1 strength Coach of the year
John Meadows - Bodybuilding guru, top Coach for IFBB pros
Scott Abel - If ever there was a PhD in bodybuilding, it would be Scott. He was my first ever Coach
Charles Poliquin - Legend in the field, worked with thousands of professional athletes as well as Olympians
In today's episode, I cover one key SECRET that I learned from each of these great Coaches and mentors of mine.
This episode is short, but there's gold in here if you listen.

In this special edition episode, I sat down with my long time, old friend, Mayhem.
Mayhem and I became boys back in highschool and although we have been busy with the roads that life has took us down, it was great to chat and catch up.
Mayhem is a comedian, formerly working on the old, but famous, Opie and Anthony show.
In this episode, we hit such a wide range of topics, including Mayhem's experience with fasting and fitness, as someone that has been overweight his entire life, to various conspiracies and chasing after your dream and what it takes to achieve that dream.
This is a long one, but a great one!
Enjoy!

Over the weekend, I was talking with Devon about our sons, Braxton and Colty. They are both very good athletes with a lot of potential.
And being that I have a unique background in the field of athletics, I was pointing out a few anomolies on Braxton that most people would never even notice.
Running with that idea, I thought I would share with you, today, what we can take from the example of Braxton and apply to our own health and strength to give us a better shot and living a quality life, longer.
Take a listen and let me know what you think.

P.S. - If you want more insights on what I teach and how I live, feel free to join my FREE What'sApp group, there's a lot of great ideas floating around in there: The World's #1 Fasting mmunity
Begin with the assumption that cutting calories is the way to go when it comes to your weight and health...
Then destroy that assumption.
In this episode, I lay out why that path is perhaps the worst idea that is still rampant in health and fitness. If you gave most fit pros truth serum, they'd tell you the same thing. They don't tell you because there is a huge lack of expertise when it comes to proper eating and nutrition.
They only know calories and macros and when that fails, well then, it must be your fault. You didn't have enough will power or discipline.
Sure, that's gotta be the reason so many people fail at caloric deficit diets, the way they are currently structured.
Take a listen if you want to gain some clarity around the topic.
By the way, I have a FREE What'sApp group with a lot of great info and there is a link to a weekly live lesson/teaching I'll be doing, beginning tonight, on Panda Man TV! Here's the link to join the group for free:

Most people aren't clear on why they train or what training quality they are attempting to train. IN today's episode I go over the training qualities that I believe are the pillars of training, including:
strength, strength endurance, hypertrophy, isometric, power and mobility. If you keep doing the same old, you'll get the same old results.
Plus, I give one powerful mindset insight at the end of the episode that if used appropriately, has the ability to change your life in an amazing way!
Enjoy and let me know what you think!
