Episode 218
Hey there, friend! I'm so happy you're here.
Are you ready to shake your tail feathers and DANCE?
My favorite "life tool" of all is dancing, and when I stopped drinking, I thought "I will never dance again!"
Not knowing in 2013 that dancing would have helped me reduce anxiety, boost my mood, and help me shake my body and all of the "I can't drink tension" out of it - I didn't tap into this wonderful "tool."
I turned to the expert in dancing in recovery, Payton Kennedy, to sit down for a chat about getting older, finding new energy in your 50s, recovering from alcoholism, and dancing as a "life tool" to expand your recovery.
I had so much fun talking to Payton and hearing her words of wisdom as a woman in recovery and dancing mindfulness facilitator and creator of SHE RECOVERS dance.
Additionally, Payton is a certified yoga teacher and a certified Life & Professional Recovery Coach.
I know you will truly appreciate this episode. As always, thank you for listening.
