Ross Rosenberg introduces the term "Valentine's Day Narcissist," describing it as an individual with one of three pathological narcissistic disorders—Borderline, Antisocial, or Narcissistic Personality Disorder—and their manipulative behaviors specifically exhibited on Valentine's Day. 

He explains that their primary tactic involves "love bombing," a form of gaslighting, to win over those with self-love deficit disorder, also known as codependency. Through this strategy, they craft an image of themselves as devoted and affectionate partners, while in reality, their actions are anything but loving.
