Many survivors of a Covert Narcissist on a healing journey are very cautious about engaging in another close relationship in case they should be unlucky enough to meet another narcissist. This hyper vigilance in relation to trusting another person is very understandable and discernment is definitely advised. However it would be the best success to overcome all the Narcissist tried to do and re emerge with a strong belief in the good in people. To that end this podcast lists 14 signs a person could potentially have indicators that they are highly narcissistic upon your initial and earlier encounters. The list is not exhaustive and neither does it predict for certain a person is a narcissist notwithstanding should they tick the box on all 14 points. It does however give some indication to perhaps take this relationship very slowly and not allow yourself to be put under any pressure. Part 2 of the podcast coming soon will cover the traits of a narcissist as displayed within a close relationship over time to assist in assessing the probability of NPD should a clinical diagnosis not be an option.
