Kyle gets quite worked up in this After thoughts section, about why men have to give us such a bad name. All joking aside, the trauma we just heard about in Melanie's story, what she went through with both her supposed step dads growing up, and then her partners, with repeat toxic behavior, Its a wonder she even wanted to chat to us! We are glad she did!

Melanie had lived with six 'step dads' by the time she was 16 years old. Several were abusive, and when she was old enough, she finally escaped the nightmare. Amazingly though, that wasn't the end of toxic relationships for Melanie. In this fired up and passionate episode, Melanie looks back and just cannot believe she continued the cycle of toxicity, by inviting mean, narcissistic and manipulative men into her life.  She describes the moment she realized she was worth more, and chose a different path for her future. A path of hope, light, and freedom.

Leslie takes us through three events that happened over a short period of time, that really tested her will to survive. The first was when she was raped while serving in the US Navy, the second not long after was the sudden death of her sister at 37 years old, and the third was the birth of her son that resulted in an emergency c-section and nearly killed her. A candid, raw, and honest episode about the power to overcome trauma and the strength to bounce back. Amazing!

After decades of severe depression and major addictions, Kellen was finally on the road to recovery. Then, suddenly,  he became gravely ill. As doctors struggled to diagnose Kellen at the hospital, he slipped into a Coma and the doctors were certain he would die. That's when he met 'God' and had a number of 'conversions' during his near death experience. As a child, Amanda was abandoned and rejected by her parents, and she quickly came off the rails. Drink turned to drugs, and soon Amanda was facing lengthy Jail time for a botched home robbery. Now free once again and with her life completely turned around, Amanda talks openly about how the lack of parental love as a child left her trying to find happiness in all the wrong places. Simply incredible.
