In this episode:
Girl! I’m so happy you are here today because this short little episode is about something that I think about so often, especially when I’m going through major life changes like I am right now.... It’s this concept of when you’re setting goals, or when you’ve got a vision for your life, that you get to accept responsibility that you’re picking your problems too.
You’re picking the problems that you want more, right?
Anything worth having is worth working hard for, which means you’re also going to have to navigate all of the problems associated with that goal.
& because I think of us like we’re girlfriends chatting over coffee, I want to share with you a couple of personal examples that I think you might connect with.
Can't wait to hear your feedback!!
Quotes:
“When you’re thinking about the problems that you have in your life, I recommend that you pick the one that has growth on it. That has growth on the other side of navigating through it.”
“Anything worth having is worth working hard for, right? So when it comes to the pain of staying the same or the pain of growth, I’m gonna choose the one with the better outcome on the other side… coming out a better version of me.”
“Remind yourself, when you’re doubting yourself or when you’re wanting to throw in the towel, or you’re wanting to skip the work that you need to do that’s required to get you where you want to go, because you think it would be ‘easier’ remind yourself you wanted these problems.”
