Brandon Almaguer joins Shae, Kevin, and Emily to chit chat about training elevation in Florida, the scary scientology section of the Tampa Bay 100, peer pressuring people to sign up for races, the Withlacoochee Trail Marathon, Price Per Mile (ppms) of races, and more!!
Kevin, Shae, and Emily sit down with Ashley Leisher fresh off of her exceptional win at Badwater Cape Fear, where she earned her titanium ticket into Badwater 135 for 2027. We also talk about Shae's return to exercising post-hysterectomy, feeding fishies, and water being scary.
Mike Alberts and Katie Jenkins stop by to talk about the inaugural Thunder Kiss 100!
Kevin, Shae, and Emily get to talk with Jamie Saunders! She's an incredibly positive force in the ultrarunning community and in life. She talks about her work as a child trauma therapist, participating as an angel rider with Ainsley's Angels, and the Walk in My Shoes to raise awareness during April, which is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month. We also learn that she is a true jock who has done it all from soccer to spartan races, dekafit, and powerlifting competitions! We hope you are as inspired as we were!

Shae, Kevin, and Emily recap the inaugural Cow Ford 50 from the perspective of crew, runner, and volunteer coordinator. Shae briefly discusses her hysterectomy (yay, yeet the ute!). We are then joined by Jordan Stevens where he discusses how he picked up running, the Wet Corn Challenge at the Badger Trail Races, his interesting career, and all sorts of interesting race formats that we got super excited about!
Kevin, Shae, Emily, and Francis are joined by Kat Michlik, a relative newcomer to the ultra scene who has been tearing it up since she started running a couple years ago. She comes from a strength and exercise science background where she trained athletes and now works as a head trainer at D1 in St. Augustine. She tells us what exercises we really should be doing as runners, and it definitely isn't what we want to hear.
Laura Bradley joins Kevin, Shae, Emily, and Francis to talk about her recent 100k finish at El Reto Del Indio, an ultra in Panama that spans ocean to ocean, that had ALL the water crossings, epic amounts of mud, elevation, and stray dogs. We also taste test some peeps flavors and find out some people are anti-peep. Francis questions Laura on her sanity as the creator of the Tampa Bay 100 and other routes she runs as the owner of Florida Running Tours.
Join Emily, Francis, Kevin, and Shae in a conversation with Russ Hartzell, one of the masterminds of Sombrero Running Events, runner, and coach. We talk about the upcoming Cow Ford 50 Miler, use code WTF20 for 20% off, food, get out of jail free cards, the Archie's Pizza Mile, and so much more!
Francis tries to reign in Kevin, Shae, Emily, and Jennifer Pentsy as we attempt to talk about her running. Emily shares a review of Konjourn running socks and Shae gets uncomfortable as a table full of medically trained people discuss knee surgery and Jen's status as the walking dead.
Coming in hot from the Swan's Song Urban Run in Lakeland. Recording on site and outside while finishers come in from the race. Francis, Emily, Kevin, and Shae chit chat about the event and the Painted Horse Urban Ultra and are joined by Craig, who talks about his recent completion of the Big Scrub 150, and Paul, to question his sanity about his race schedule. Lots of fun and mishaps and bird sounds!
