Kate and I had another fun show today. We talked about a wide range of subjects mostly to do with health.
It’s interesting because health to me has so much more to do with all aspects of our lives and not just what we eat.
People think of health as what their diet is like. Do I eat apples or pasta today? Do I have a disease or do I feel healthy and energized?
But in my mind health applies to every single area of life. For example, how are you with money? Do you spend a lot? Do you spend more than you earn? Are you in debt? Well this all has to do with your financial health.
There’s emotional health, spiritual health, mental health, financial health, physical health and much more.
Obviously for us, physical health is high up on the list but we realize that that’s just the entrance into a much deeper, much more conscious way of living.
Usually our FFAF (free for all friday) shows have more to do with other kinds of health rather than the body. Sure our physical health is always something we’re trying to improve and get over certain health challenges we’re dealing with but for me it’s not the primary area of life I’m concerned with.
[spp-tweet “Our lives are fragile. They can change in an instant. Live today in light of this truth & carry no regrets.”]
I understand that living foods, enzymes and such are a way to increase energy, lose weight and ultimately extend your life but what for? If you don’t have a “for” than what’s the point?
So we like to use physical health as a springboard for higher living.
I hope you’re cool with that! 🙂
So in today’s show we discussed why we constantly create new fears whenever we overcome old ones. We talked about things like being grateful and thankful in our lives and why that’s so important. We talked about the benefits of creating a life creed or manifesto to live by and what the ramifications of that are.
We talked about what impact buying things has not only on our own lives but on the planet as well. We talked about minimalism and many more interesting subjects!
We hope you enjoyed this show!
