As we approach the new year, I want to encourage you and remind you that nothing magically changes on January 1st. In today’s episode, I walk you through a process of reflection and action planning to approach 2023 with intentionality. The thing is… this is the same advice I’d give you whether it was April or September or anytime throughout the year. You’re the same person on the first day of January as you are on the last day of December. You don’t need a fresh new year to wake up and decide to make changes to your life. BUT, since this topic is fresh on everyone’s mind, I’ll share my two cents on setting intentions for the new year!

• Things to consider: 
• What are you most proud of from 2022? Every win - big and small - deserves celebrating
• What do you want to carry into the new year?
• What would you like to create more of in the coming year?
• What do you need to release?


• Steps to take:
• Once you’ve identified the above things, write them down as if they’re already true
• Narrow down your list to top 5 or top 10 - too many things to focus on at once is overwhelming!
• What habits or baby steps could you start to get you closer to your goal?
• Make an action plan

Today we have a very special kind of episode planned for today. Last month, I had the incredible honor of hosting my first ever ASCEND retreat for rural women in Destin, Florida. And on the final day of our weekend, one of my coaches and dear friend, Coach Kiah, pulled each woman at the retreat aside and asked them a series of questions about their experience.

I am bringing you a very impromptu episode today about how sometimes feeling better is not the same as healing. I’m currently in the middle of a healing and self discovery journey, and the episode that was originally planned for this week just didn’t feel right. So instead, today you’ll meet Kristen Rogers. She is a dear friend whom I met through the mastermind that we both participate in. The morning that we recorded this episode, we had been messaging back and forth about our healing journeys. We are officially in the thick of the holiday season, which is equal parts beautiful and stressful.  One question that comes up a lot, that I know can create a lot of anxiety, is how to continue our health journeys and habits over the holidays. In today’s episode, I’m going to share some of my experiences and things that have helped me to answer that question all while reframing what it means to enjoy the holidays.

In today’s episode, I share my candid thoughts on the intertwined connection between healing and growth. Honestly, since that message my wheels have been really turning on what it means to grow alongside a healing journey.
