Learn how to use inner child work and reparenting techniques to heal childhood injustice, unfairness and trauma.
Discover our online consultations, events and shop: https://www.wuweiwisdom.com
When we want to move on from childhood hurt and trauma, it can be the part of our mind that we call the ‘inner child’ that keeps us stuck in the past.
Our inner child often does not understand and will not accept what happened to us when we were young, and it may desperately want to hold onto its story of unfairness and injustice.
As mature adults, we may also agree with our inner child’s narrative, and so we don’t have the authentic answers to give our inner child to help it heal.
So why does the inner child get so stuck? And how can we reparent our inner child so it can finally let go of the past?
In this teaching, your hosts, husband and wife team, David James Lees (ordained Taoist monk, emotional and spiritual health teacher and therapist), and Alexandra Lees (wellbeing coach and feng shui consultant), answer your questions.

Learn how to stop striving and chasing perfection so that you can enjoy a more satisfying and fulfilled life.
Discover our online consultations, events and shop: https://www.wuweiwisdom.com
It is easy to get trapped into a cycle of striving, working hard for goals that are always just out of reach, and then continually criticising and driving yourself even harder.
Many clients come to us exhausted and unhappy and because they want to step-off this relentless hamster-wheel of striving.
But when they begin to understand they are already good enough and that they don’t need to strive for perfection, they can often lose their sense of purpose and motivation and get bored with life.
So what’s going on here? Is it possible to stop striving, accept we are already enough AND be truly fulfilled in life?
In this teaching, your hosts, husband and wife team, David James Lees (ordained Taoist monk, emotional and spiritual health teacher and therapist), and Alexandra Lees (wellbeing coach and feng shui consultant), answer your questions.

Discover the cause of family anxiety triggers and how to stop being emotionally triggered by parents or other family members.
Learn about our online consultations, events and shop: https://www.wuweiwisdom.com
Why do we get especially emotionally reactive and triggered by parents or family members?
We may be mature, balanced, and in our wu wei flow in our other personal relationships or aspects of our life, but when it comes to parents or family, often they can touch our emotional pain points. When this happens we revert back to our irritated, angry, insecure or anxious ‘younger self’.
So, what’s going on here? How is our inner child involved? And how can we restore inner-calm and find peace with our family situation and those we love?
In this teaching, your hosts, husband and wife team, David James Lees (ordained Taoist monk, emotional and spiritual health teacher and therapist), and Alexandra Lees (wellbeing coach and feng shui consultant), answer your questions.
