Following up on last week's episode where I was talking about believing that you are 100% of WORTH & VALUE. Today I wanted to talk about IFS ( internal family systems) developed by Dr Dick Schwartz, otherwise known as parts work. Understanding yourself in this way can help you believe that you really do have a CORE SELF and that, that CORE SELF is NOT impacted by your trauma.
Here are the journal prompts from today's episode:
Journal Prompt 1: What qualities do you admire about yourself? This is aimed at discovering more about your inner worth.
Journal Prompt 2: What negative beliefs do you hold about yourself that might be blocking your sense of worth, and how does this impact your day-to-day life? Identify these negative beliefs, examine how they block your sense of worth and value, and explore how they affect your daily life.
Journal Prompt 3: What does your higher self look like and feel like? Describe this part of you in detail, focusing on what you see this part doing, feeling, and looking like. Then, list two ways in which you will remember and connect with this part of yourself.
