Perhaps it's even subconscious and yet you find yourself feeling resentful angry or stuck in moving on because you are waiting for there to be some decency in a human to take accountability of their choices which led to the situations you are experiencing. Im sharing my thoughts about this today and offering a few things that I believe will hep you to heal and move forward, having an EMPOWERED DIVORCE.
Highlights:
Release Expectations for an Apology: Letting go of the hope for an apology frees you from emotional ties to your ex and aids healing.
Prioritize Personal Healing: Shift focus from your ex’s actions to your own recovery, finding internal closure.
Set Personal Boundaries: Avoid interactions that trigger emotional responses used by your ex to deflect responsibility.
Legally Follow Through without Emotional Engagement: Handle legal matters like child support reporting without emotional involvement.
Minimize Emotional Interactions: Keep necessary communications with your ex strictly business-like to prevent emotional manipulation.
Adjust Internal Dialogue: Focus on your healing rather than your ex’s unwillingness to acknowledge their faults.
Recognize Root Issues: Understand that your ex’s failure to accept responsibility reflects their limitations, not your value.
Stay Present and Accept Reality: Live in the present and accept things as they are, reducing the influence of external factors.
Focus Inward for Growth: Turn inward for self-reflection and growth instead of seeking closure from your ex.

Following up on last week's episode where I was talking about believing that you are 100% of WORTH & VALUE. Today I wanted to talk about IFS ( internal family systems) developed by Dr Dick Schwartz, otherwise known as parts work. Understanding yourself in this way can help you believe that you really do have a CORE SELF and that, that CORE SELF is NOT impacted by your trauma.
Here are the journal prompts from today's episode:
Journal Prompt 1: What qualities do you admire about yourself? This is aimed at discovering more about your inner worth.
Journal Prompt 2: What negative beliefs do you hold about yourself that might be blocking your sense of worth, and how does this impact your day-to-day life? Identify these negative beliefs, examine how they block your sense of worth and value, and explore how they affect your daily life.
