There are many phrases and sentences your brain can tell you to encourage you to eat! Every small change you make can add up to big differences in the long run, whether you are 18 or 95. If you've been finding yourself struggling with overeating or bingeing, every pound you lose can potentially help extend your life and add more energy, joy, and life to your years. But how do you stop your brain from giving you reasons to overeat or binge? How can you start to really get in front of your overeating and bingeing episodes?
First, it’s important to first identify what you want your life to look like and then make behavioral shifts to begin taking ownership of your health.
But before you allow your brain to get overwhelmed at the prospect of overhauling your health, you have to know that your brain just wants you to play safe and wants you comfortable. The least amount of effort and comfort is what fuels your brain's motivation - so you have to push back and face these lies if you want to lose weight.
