In this episode, we discuss the need for harmony among the wholeness of our full selves - mind, body, and soul.
The objectification and disconnection we often feel from our physical experience is the result of a fragmentation of our selves as a survival and defense mechanism -
But there is a vital connection between our physical health & our emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
If our bodies are what we explore this world through, the quality of our experience can be directly correlated to how we feel in our bodies and how much our bodies feel safe to --- feel.
Learning how to feel safe in our skin and pave the way for resilience begins with cultivating respect for all parts of ourselves.
A very simple question can probe a lot of insight into how balanced you are:
Are you taking care of yourself? Are you treating yourself well? What does treating yourself "well" even mean to you?
This can be a sensitive and complicated subject, but it starts small and very simply.
Tuning into our basic needs and honoring them with gentle care can help us identify our emotional needs, connect more deeply to our spiritual bodies, and allow our life experience to be greatly deepened.
