In today's episode, Classical Homeopaths Vanessa and Heather explain homeopathic aggravations and their importance in the healing process, discuss ameliorations of symptoms after an aggravation as well as ways you can possibly antidote your remedy.

When a homeopath gives you the correct remedy for a chronic condition, it’s likely that you will experience an aggravation of your chronic symptoms. This is not a bad sign! In fact, it’s a great sign and one that we look for as a sign that the remedy was the best match. Your immune system is being activated!

When you get an aggravation, it’s a sign that your immune system is leveling up, and it is able to respond! Your immune system is moving out of a suppressed state that has prevented your body from healing itself. 

The symptoms are the healing--without symptoms we can’t heal! 

The reason you are stuck with chronic symptoms is your immune system is just not strong enough to get over the symptoms, so they remain nagging and chronic low grade annoying. This is often due to suppression on both the physical and emotional planes! 

But if we can get your immune system stronger, which makes the symptoms stronger for a brief period of time, then the body can push the pathology out. This can look like a healing crisis! But after this activation of the immune system you should have an amelioration of symptoms. This is the part where the activation is worth it in the end!
