Over a 30-year career, he pioneered alternative wastewater systems now implemented across Europe, built research programs in regenerative agriculture and rainwater harvesting, and developed the Garden Communities framework for resilient, decentralized living. Trained in geomancy and the healing methods of Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, he now works as a coach and educator helping people release deep-rooted trauma patterns and restore vital energy. He lives and teaches between northern Germany and the French Pyrenees.

Key Concepts Glossary

Frenulum (frenum): The band of connective tissue that anchors the tongue to the floor of the mouth, or the lips to the gums. Everyone is born with these — the question is whether they are restricted enough to limit function and create tension throughout the body.

Diastasis recti abdominis: A separation of the two sides of the rectus abdominis muscle along the midline. All babies are born with it; most integrate by age five. When it persists into adulthood, it can contribute to gut dysfunction, rib flaring, core instability, and organ misalignment.

Apoptosis: Programmed cell death — a normal and essential biological process by which the body selectively eliminates cells. During fetal development, apoptosis is responsible for separating fingers, sculpting facial structures, and, relevant here, dissolving tongue and lip ties between weeks 11 and 12 of gestation. When this process is incomplete in the oral tissues, the fascial restrictions remain and ripple through the developing body.

The Floor Four: Dr. Bulchandani's clinical framework identifying four key areas — head (sphenoid), throat (thyroid/hyoid), sides (diaphragm region), and feet — whose release reliably frees tension in the floor of the mouth and triggers a whole-body cascade of suppleness and integration.

Functional diaphragm: Any horizontal structure in the body that promotes the flow of interstitial fluid and cell-to-cell communication. The floor of the mouth is one; the pelvic floor, the respiratory diaphragm, and the sphenoid bone are others. When any of these are restricted, fluid flow and systemic communication are compromised.

Photobiomodulation (PBM): The use of red and near-infrared light to stimulate biological processes at the cellular level. Over 7,000 peer-reviewed studies and counting. Also called red light therapy, though that term technically covers only part of the spectrum.

Red vs. Near-Infrared: Red light (roughly 620–700nm) penetrates 5–10mm — effective for skin, collagen, and surface circulation. Near-infrared (700–1100nm) reaches bone marrow, nerves, and deep soft tissue. Effective devices include both.

Mitochondria: The cellular organelles responsible for producing ATP (energy), structured water, and heat. Red and NIR light directly stimulate the mitochondrial electron transport chain, making these processes faster and more efficient. Mitochondrial health is now understood to be central to metabolic, immune, and neurological function.

Redox Potential: A measure of the body's ability to manage oxidative stress and mount immune responses. Jackie's Lyme disease episode, she argues, was made possible by years of lowered redox from light deficiency — and subsequent tick bites produced no illness once her redox was restored.

Light Deficiency: The premise that modern indoor living has created a systemic, near-universal deficiency in red and near-infrared wavelengths — wavelengths that would have been available essentially continuously in an outdoor ancestral environment.
