2 Broke Girls alum Kat Dennings tied the knot with musician Andrew W.K. on Nov. 27 in a backyard ceremony held at their Los Angeles home. 

The newlywed couple kept things low-key for their guest list, which only included about 15 people. Luckily, close friends Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song made the cut. 

“I even handmade all of our wedding florals, aisle pieces and our ceremony arch, which took three entire days,” said Dennings. “I wanted to be hands-on with the entire experience and feel like we had built our moment together from scratch.” 

Kat's mother Ellen Litwack walked her down the aisle following the tragic death of her father Gerald less than two months before the big day.

Rumors have been circulating about a Harry Potter TV series since January 2021, but all has seemingly been put to bed now Warner Bros. Discovery has greenlit a Harry Potter scripted television series, which will be executive-produced by author J.K. Rowling. 

The controversy around the series and the difficulty in recasting the iconic roles of Harry, Hermione, Ron, and more gives it an uphill battle to climb, while the mind behind the Harry Potter franchise isn't exactly beloved as the Wizarding World she built makes its comeback. 

Rowling has always been outspoken about the trans community beginning in 2020, but her flurry of comments since have driven some of her most ardent fans to denounce her and voice opposition to her future involvement with the franchise.

We've seen some out-of-this-world things in China, so, it never ceases to amaze us when something new emerges. 

This time it is a restaurant called HaiDiLao in Wuxi, China. The restaurant specializes in hotpots and has something unorthodox going on after meals. 

They have launched a shampooing service for their customers who prefer to wash the stench out of their hair. 

It is apparently part of a wider pivot into the beauty service industry by the giant hotpot chain. In the past, HaiDiLao restaurants started offering manicures, pedicures, and makeup services as a way of attracting new business. Who knows what they’ll come up with next?

Charlie Munger – the witty polymath and right-hand man to Warren Buffett – has passed away just a month shy of becoming a centenarian. He was known for his unvarnished advice on life. 

He said earlier this year that success can hinge on the company you keep. Toxic people can hinder someone's path to success, he advised. 

 "The great lesson of life is get them the hell out of your life — and do it fast," Munger said of toxic people. 

 "It's so simple to spend less than you earn, and invest shrewdly, and avoid toxic people and toxic activities, and try and keep learning all your life, and do a lot of deferred gratification," Munger said at the annual meeting of Berkshire Hathaway in Omaha in May.
