Jaime Luna’s battle with anxiety began when he was just five years old.
His first panic attack came after seeing a ghost, leaving him scared and unable to breathe. Over the years, his symptoms grew worse – overwhelming fear, dizziness, heart palpitations, a constant sense of doom, and dissociation. Stress from his role as a preacher, especially dealing with toxic relationships, only made things harder.
Jaime tried everything to feel better: therapy, mindfulness, even a Spanish anxiety program. But instead of improving, his anxiety intensified.
Everything changed when Jaime joined Bye Bye Panic. With the help of mentors, he learned how his thoughts and behaviors were keeping him stuck. He let go of being overly self-critical, started focusing on the present, and stopped feeling like his struggles were impossible to overcome. Step by step, Jaime broke free from anxiety’s grip.
Today, Jaime says his life is completely transformed. He’s stronger in his faith, present with his family, and looking forward to the future with hope.
