"If it ever crosses your mind that the person can't handle what you are going to say to them, what you want to say to them, if you ever think they are too weak or incapable, those absolutely are key indicators that you are in it, that you are in the caretaking side of things."

What is wrong with making people feel better? When a lot of us think of codependence, we think of alcoholism or we think of addiction, a lot of the extreme examples, but codependence is something we really do a lot in our daily lives, and this happens in very subtle ways in relationships, personally and in business. Today we are going to talk about the difference between care and caretaking.
