In today's episode I chat about how I have been experiencing loneliness and how I've not even really been aware that this was an emotion I was feeling and how I realized that this was something that I had been subconsciously trying to escape from. I share a few things that I've been doing the past few weeks to overcome this and take steps in a direction that makes me feel really really good. I am hoping you find my vulnerability useful so that you know that 1. that you are not alone and 2. that there is a way to get to the other side of whatever negative emotion you may be experiencing currently.
On this episode we chat all about building self-esteem! Self-esteem is all about feeling good within and about ourselves and it plays such a massive role when it comes to so many aspects of our life, such as our relationships, career, lifestyle, finances and really just our overall happiness and well-being. I would love to share 5 tools that I have incorporated into my own life this last little while and hope that they will lead you towards more self-love, kindness and self-belief.
In this episode I share some new realizations that I had during my week with covid as I took Tony Robbins event. I have been avoiding and forgotten about something that used to bring me a lot of joy. My hope is that by being open and sharing this with you, that you reconnect with what used to bring you a lot of joy as well :)
Ep. 7. 10 things I do to boost my mood instantly
Trusting the process when things don’t go to plan is really a lifelong practice and there are 10 things I do to stay in a trusting, good state of mind when I run in to the little daily challenges that we all face on a day to day bases and I want to chat with you about those in this episode :)
We've got the regulars like nature, walks, meditations, journaling prompts and workouts but there are some other really powerful techniques that I would like to explore with you on this episodes that include Abraham Hicks techniques, manifestation techniques, younger self healing and helping others.
I hope you find it useful and that you are kind to yourself today :)
I've been so excited to chat with you guys about a few thoughts that I've been having this past week about traveling by myself and the importance of spending time alone, about female podcasts and about how I like to be a "challenging" friend. Thank you so much for listening and for being with me on this journey.
In this episode we talk about failures. Failures in career, life and relationships. Life does not always go according to plan but if we listen to what the failures are trying to tell us, we may just end up with a far greater end destination than the one that we originally had planned.
If we strive for perfection, we may be stopping ourselves from ever getting started on doing that thing that we deep down want to do. At least that is a pattern that I have seen in my life and something that I no longer want to be experiencing. Different tools help me to let go of fear of judgement, reconnect with my strengths, focus on helping others rather than on myself and overall just let go of wanting to be perfect. I hope you can find bits of value in incorporating this into your life as well.
In this episode I talk about how my life took a drastic turn this past year and how I have decided to give the digital nomad life a shot for the next little while. I share a bit about how my marriage ended this past year and the journey to why I have decided to live my life the way that I do today. Break-ups and challenges in life turn us into stronger individuals and so if we look for the beauty within these challenges, this journey of life that we all are on, just becomes a lot more enjoyable to be a part of.
In this episode I share everything that I feel has helped me to get into shape. We start off by talking about the importance of goal setting, understanding your WHY, planning a clear schedule and then COMMITTING. After the basics have been covered I share a few things that have helped me stay motivated during the process like changing my identity, creating vision-boards, finding inspirations, being my own hype-man and more.
I hope you find a bit of value or at least that something I speak about sparks something within you to go crush your goals.
Welcome to my new Challenge Your Norm podcast!
I've chosen to name this podcast "Challenge Your Norm" because to me, it is when I step outside of my norm, of what I normally would do, and I challenge myself to do things that force me to grow, that I have felt the most fulfilled and joyful in life. It is when I experience myself take action and do that things that I previously had allowed my fear, discomfort and/or laziness hold me back from doing, that I gain the most confidence, self-trust and fulfillment. I want for us all to live life to it's fullest and to do so, we've got to Challenge our norm!
Thank you for being here and being willing to grow, develop and challenge your norm with me!
