At a time when young trans people have needed somebody to fight for their issues on the main stage - Danielle St. James has stood up and fought every for trans issues to take centre stage.
Having come out as trans when she was a teenager, the content creator and model (who has also appeared on Channel 4's First Dates), is now best known as the Chief Executive of Not A Phase - a leading charity that supports the trans community through numerous campaigns and projects. She has also founded ZOAH, an inclusive underwear and swimwear brand designed to suit trans people's bodies.
Dani's story goes beyond a great deal of overcoming and shows the power of taking your own struggles and turning it into empowerment for entire communities so that nobody else finds themselves where you once were.
