Digital Barbell Turkey Chili
2 Lbs of meat (we use 99% lean ground turkey breast)
1 Large box of low-sodium chicken broth
2 Cans of great northern beans
2 Small cans of green chilis (spice based on your preference)
1 Small can of diced jalapeños (or fresh) based on your spice preference)
Slice your onions and bell pepper and crush and chop your garlic.
Put the broth, beans, chilis, onion, bell pepper, garlic and seasoning in a large pot and bring to a boil with a lid.
While that boils, put your meat in a frying pan.
Add a little seasoning to the meat also and cook on medium high until almost done.
By now the liquid/bean mixture in the pot should be boiling.
Add the meat to the big pot, stir and bring back to a boil.
Let it boil for a few minutes and then reduce the heat to medium low.
Let the chili simmer for about 20-30 minutes!
Since this recipe is very low fat, feel free to add some shredded cheese or avocado.
