Whenever seasons change in your life and you’re getting used to new rhythms it’s so important to make sure that you’re really intentional about getting the foundational things in place. Making sure you’re focusing on replenishing your body as you transition from summer into fall is really important to help reduce that anxiety, give your nervous system what it needs to keep you calm, and help you just function better. It’s always a bit taxing on our brains and bodies when we’re going through change, so having these five things on hand will really help with the natural stress that comes from life changes and seasonal changes. These 5 things are easy to keep on hand, can almost all be added to your grocery order each week (or Amazon) and will help really provide a solid support system for healing your nervous system.

Here’s the thing– I think the Church has failed us miserably when it comes to dealing with emotions. And the truth is, I see so many Christian women caught up in this lie that is holding them back from true healing when it comes to emotional dysregulation.
Mom anxiety so often leads to nervous system dysregulation, being stuck in fight or flight, and feeling like you have a mental health issue. You feel like your emotions are out of control and you're stuck in a cycle of losing it and yelling at your kids or husband. So are you just lacking self-control? Do you need to study the Bible more and spend more time with Jesus? Is it just a heart issue?
Today I’m going to talk about why I think Christian moms struggle with mom rage on such a large scale and why it comes with such a heavy mantle of shame and guilt. And then we’re going to really discuss what the truth is surrounding emotional dysregulation from a biblical perspective.
So grab a sparkling beverage and maybe some dirty dishes to wash and let's dive into some TRUTH behind your emotional dysregulation.
blessings,
Rach

Wondering how the "mom rage" is affecting your kids? It's definitely taking an emotional toll but what does that actually look like? How is yelling and the anger rollercoaster that stems from your mom anxiety causing emotional damage? Or is it?
We're diving into why your nervous system dysregulation affects your kiddos, how you can actually shift your mental health from one of fight or flight, anxiety disorder, and overwhelm to calm and present, and what you can do to repair any emotional damage caused by your outbursts. Because I know mama, like me, you really care about your kid's mental health and well-being!!

Wondering what the heck "mom rage" actually is? Is it yelling at your kids? Raging at your husband? Why does it happen and where does it come from?
Today I'm explaining what it actually is (it's not just being an angry mom all the time--there is so much more to it!) and why it is so common for moms with anxiety disorders. Anxious moms often end up with emotional dysregulation that causes us to feel like we fit in some weird mental health category but it really is not that complicated on what is happening in your brain, mama. It's such a huge part of a out of whack nervous system that is dying to be regulated.
There's a reason why you're facing the emotional rollercoaster that you can't ever seem to escape as you raise your babies. So grab a sparkling beverage and maybe a load of laundry to fold and let's dive into mom rage.
blessings,
Rach
