Do you struggle with saying no?
Do you find yourself constantly trying to make other people happy, even if you aren’t?
Do you worry about what other people are thinking? And what they are thinking about you?
Well, if you answered yes, I can fully relate to this because I used to be the picture of a people pleaser. Today, i am going to be addressing the root of people pleasing (and some people refer to this as codependency). I am also going to help you by giving you some practical ideas of how you can change this behavior.
If you ended up in an emotionally abuse relationship, with a narcissists or a toxic relationship, you can probably relate to people pleasing behaviors. It starts when we are young but stays with us for years! It can be a really tough habit to break.
Here's what I want you to know...People pleasing isn’t personality trait…it’s a habit. And any habit we have, we can break if we choose to!
If you want to break this habit, listen in!
