This week, we bring you the 2022 Women's Ultraman World Champion, Dede Griesbauer. Obviously, Dede is an extremely multifaceted person, as this is her third time on Ironwomen - each episode with a different topic.

Dede shares her journey to Ultraman, and the ways in which the pitfalls along the way actually helped her in the long run. After qualifying for Ultraman in February of 2020, Dede had to wait a very long time to race. Which, in fact, helped her be at her most peak performance for 2022. Dede shares how she trained, who was on her "dream team", and what it felt like to know how fierce her competition was.

Getting into a sport can be extremely daunting. Getting the right gear seems overwhelming. This week, Alyssa and Haley welcome Amanda Presgraves - athlete, coach, and author. Amanda shares her journey in sport, and all of the random bikes she used to get to where she is today.

After emergency surgery for appendicitis during her training season, Giulia Bortolotto found herself quite bored. As a Pro triathlete, Giulia had to take her two-month recovery seriously and was looking for ways to maintain her connection to triathlon. That's where illustration came in.

This week, Haley and Alyssa chat with Giulia - A Brazilian pro triathlete and artist, who spends much of her time drawing illustrations of other pro triathletes. The duo talks to Giulia about how she got into racing triathlon, and how her artistry and creativity helped her connect to the sport.

For the first time in history, men and women will race the IRONMAN World Championships on different days in different locations. The women will race in Kona on October 14, 2023, and then the men will race in September at an undisclosed location (will be announced in January 2023).

With the Ultraman World Championships starting tomorrow in Kona, we wanted to talk to a past champion. That's why this week, Haley and Alyssa chat with Amy Robitaille about her win at the 2022 Ultraman Canada. With a 10km (6.2 mile) swim and 144km (90 mile) bike on the first day, a 276 km (171 mile) bike on the second day, and an 85km (52.4 mile) run on the final day, Amy pushed her body to its limits.

Amy shares her key to winning, which in fact, means slowing down a bit. As Amy says, "you can walk and win". Finally, the duo chat about the upcoming race. While Amy won't be racing herself, she will be cheering her fellow athletes on!

Wait...was the Ironman 70.3 World Championships cold or something? Apparently, it was freezing in St.George, and this seems to be the talk of the town lately. So, to answer all of the questions, Haley and Alyssa welcome Sonja Catano onto the podcast. Coming in 17th at the 70.3 Word Champs, Sonja is a professional triathlete and fierce competitor.

Who is excited for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships?!?! WE ARE. This week, Haley and Alyssa welcome Jocelyn Wong Neill onto the podcast to talk alllll things 70.3. The last time Jocelyn was on the show she was 16 weeks pregnant, and now? She has a two-year-old!

The trio shares their top podium picks, and dark horses, and talk generally about what this race will look like.
