Queer lives have been seriously attacked in U.S. legislature lately (and, always). The voices of those that do not value or respect trans lives have been loud, and this week, we want to learn how to be better allies, create safer spaces in cycling, and ultimately - be louder. That's why we welcome Abi Robins - founder of Queer Gravel.
Abi shares their experience of being non-binary in the gravel space, and in Texas as a whole. The trio discusses ways that various races can work to be more inclusive, and the barriers that queer people face in cycling. Touching on topics like anti-trans legislature, non-binary race categories, and the emotional labor of queer folks - Abi delves deep into how we can all work to create safer spaces.
