I’m baaaaaack! This feels like the Finale of my Girl Boss Down experience over the past few months, and I had to drop in before dropping in with the REAL finalé episode for healing honeys. It’s time to get off the trauma train…. But how!? Today, in our final (for now) episode with Stephanie Therapy, we dive into “I’m not healed enough yet” to “wait… what if I’m allowed to just enjoy my life RIGHT now?”. We chat when healing becomes a cage (and what to do about it), as well as becoming addicted to the healing journey vs. forgetting there is so much more to life. Back again my babes! This is part 4 in my burnout series and today I’m exploring what I’m learning this week (and the things I don’t have answers to). I discuss why so many high-achieving women are completely disconnected from their pelvises and their ability to feel, and unpacking how we've all been conditioned to just do what we're "supposed to do" without ever being asked what we actually want or how we want to feel. I talk about the terrifying process of unraveling when you don't have the energy to hold it together anymore, why burnout might actually be a spiritual awakening rather than a breakdown, and how safe people (including incredible female friendships) are genuinely part of the healing process. My 'it’s time to get back on track' week failed BADLY and it spiralled from there. From uncontrollable food cravings (hi, 6 Costco chocolate muffins), crying three times a day, and questioning my relationship and living set up (as well as wanting to NYC!?) my melt down hit HARD when I tried to push too hard and too fast to get back on track.
