Of all my podcasts, I think this is one of the most important.

According to Christian belief, which is my belief system as well as that of over 85% of America, we rarely stop to think about the fact that when God Created the World…on the 7th day, He rested!

That’s right, He showed us from the very beginning how important it is to rest.

Today, we live in a fast-paced world.  Exhaustion.  A world that forces many of us to work on Sunday. The very day that God Himself designated as a day of rest.

Why is it still so important for us to take this day for rest? Beside that fact God designated it…well, “IF” everyone held true to Sunday as a day of rest, then families would have a full day to worship, pray, play, dine together, reconnect, and simply enjoy each other’s company.

It would once again allow for all of us to slow our mental thoughts, from work to rest without the sense of guilt that many of us have when we take a day to rest.

I keep reminding people; there is a force of evil in the world (the angel of darkness that used to be the angel of light) that hates man. This force is so bent on the destruction of man that he never sleeps, he is constantly rallying his creepy little minions into battle with man… “destroy the family” he yells. Destroy man’s peace. Encourage materialism. Encourage education. This evil entity knows man better than man knows himself and he is always pushing to capacity man’s intellect. He wants man to believe that he can be a success and that he can be educated and he has man convinced that if he studies and works and neglects his prayers, he will have more time to become smart and rich and even be immortalized by his intellectual legacy or by the wealth that he leaves behind.

Why am I giving this moral lesson? Because. This is false!

Sure, man can sell his soul. And he may become all the things that he wishes to become; on this earth.

But true happiness, true fulfillment is not obtained by hard work alone. True fulfillment is fulfilled through balance.

Balance in work, play, recreation, art, literature and charity.

All the great Homeopath’s know this as well. They have all spent much time describing the fall of man to his own failings.
