Welcome to Part 3! I am now four weeks post-op from hysterectomy surgery and I want to share as much as I can for anyone who may be preparing for or considering hysterectomy surgery. In this episode, I illustrate what my recovery has looked like so far. I share four healing tips relating to diet and digestion and provide wisdom I’ve gained over my recovery process — from physical and emotional healing, to communicating your needs and giving space for Lady Leisure Time.
I also detail my weekly recovery goals and the beautiful, yet humbling, experience of allowing people to love and support you. And if you’re curious about how this surgery affected sexual intercourse and sex organs, I have all the details on that, too! We are more than our bodies. But I believe we must treat ourselves the way the body deserves. It’s been a really powerful journey. I’ll see you on the next episode of the Manifestival podcast.
